Welcome to the Paradise Classroom! We had a fantastic Monday! Our poem of the week is On Turning Ten by Billy Collins. He is our teacher Ms. Finn's favorite poet. We wrote a reflection about the poem in our writer's notebooks. We are reading Each Little Bird that Sings in the afternoon. Today Comfort, Peach, and Dismay got caught in a flood and Dismay was swept away by the water. We are wondering if (and hoping that) he survives. We'll find out fomorrow. In math today we worked on multiplication and division clusters. It was hard, but fun at the same time. Marissa and Kyle are writing some of their own for the class. We'll try them out tomorrow. Oh yeah, Kevin and Jonathon helped Ms. Finn read a bilingual book about Mexican artist, Diego Rivera. We are very impressed that they can read in two languages!!!!! See you later, Aligator!!!
